Good Samaritan Ministry Programs

 

Our outreach is inspired by Jesus Christ who tells us "As you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me." (Matthew 25: 40)

 

Our Ministry oversees the following:

 

Relief Aid In crisis situations we assist families with utilities, rent and limited medication.  In addition, we provide health aids such as canes, walkers, wheel chairs etc.

 

Food Pantry We distribute food through our food pantry (perishable and non-perishable).

 

Dignity Campaign We provides basic cleaning, and personal hygiene items.

​

Baby Boom Distribution of diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and baby clothes, which are given to distressed families.

​

Giving A Hand Up Program Provides food, clothes, blankets. sleeping bags, tents and cold weather gear to Homeless Individuals in our community.

​

Animal Harbor We assist our four legged friends by providing dog and cat food who also may be in need of our support.

 

Project Help Encourages Tullahoma residents to add $1 or more to their monthly utilities payments.  We administer Project Help donations in partnership with the Tullahoma Utility Authority and Elk River PUD by providing support to the elderly and disabled to help pay their utility bills.

Outreach Finally, we offer encouragement to those who may have lost hope, and provide them with counseling on household management and identify social agencies to help with special or specific needs.  We try to connect clients with resources, educational programs, volunteer opportunities, or information about available jobs.
